Piercing trouble.?!

Question: I got my lip repierced about 5 hours ago and all went well but im not sure when or how to eat. What should I eat that would kill the hunger but not hurt too much? And is it ok if I start eating soft, cold foods again?

Eating with a new lip piercing is not about what you eat, but how you eat it. You will find that you can chew all you want, but getting the food into your mouth is the challenge. Choose foods that can be cut up into small bites or can be fit into your mouth without having to stretch your mouth out. So huge hamburgers are out for a couple of days, but steak, fries, soup, and anything else you can fit in will work out fine.

Be sure to rinse your mouth after eating to keep your piercing nice and clean. Sucking ice can help keep your swelling down or you can even hold ice to your lip itself as long as you don't freeze the area.

Eating with a lip piercing is just a matter of being careful not to overstretch or bump the piercing. If you find your lip gets aggravated from chewing as well, eat small meals more often. When you're chewing for a shorter period of time your lip won't get as annoyed with you and will have time to recover before the next snack time.

try drinking smoothies through straws
the cold will help the pain
and you wont have to chew or anything
plus itll fill you up
then just go to sleep
in the morning take and asprin and drink another smoothie
make smoothies the only thing you drink for tomorrow
ten try real food again!
