What does it mean for me to have sharp pains on the upper right corner of my sto!

Question: The pain feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife. & I have to breathe lightly, or else the pain gets worse, & I can't move my body. I'm laying down on my laptop, just using my arms & hands, & my stomach is hurting.

Upper right corner-just under your ribcage? Could be gallbladder. Could also be something in the lower lungs.

If it was lower right, I'd be worried about appendicitis. That's down to the right of your pubic hair on the right hand side.

No matter what, if you're having that much pain and trouble breathing, you need to be checked out by a doctor ASAP-like tonight, as soon as you can get someone to take you to be checked out in ER.

That sounds like appendicitis, does it hurt a lot when you press it?
If so best go see a doctor asap.

This could be serious. Get medical attention ASAP. If it is your appendix....it could burst! I know a little seven year old boy who had his appendix out last summer....same place of pain!!!

Could be your gallbladder I would get it checked out ASAP.

I had pain just to the right side of my breast down to the hips and when I went to the doctor he said just a pulled muscle. I used a heating pad to help the pain. I got a fever of 102 and dark circles under my eyes 2 weeks later and when I went to the emergency room I was septic and was told a couple of hours more and I would not be alive today. So, when in doubt go the emergency room. Better safe than sorry or dead. Good luck!
