Did something bite me, if so any idea as of what?!

Question: I was hanging out in my living room last night and got up to tackle my roommate ( He was lying on the floor). When all a sudden my right foot underneath felt like a muscle or something cramped up gave out or something. Like, I couldn't move my foot (thought it would be wierd that a muscle in your foot would cramp especially since im only 21) Then all a sudden the pain stopped i see my bottom portion of my foot is swollen (rounded spot) and then my whole right leg has been feeling weird since. I had felt really cold a few minutes after this happened and then got really tired . I had to move my leg around a lot it just feels wierd. Im not sure how to fully discribe the pain/feeling. It is uncomfortable though and my foot is still swollen. What do you think happened?

Depends where you live, in Ct there are 2 poisonous spiders the brown recluse and black widow, I had a bite and the md told me they look for a black area around the bite, signs of infection cell death otherwise dont worry if it seems infected go to your doc ice it for swelling.

You may have been bitten by a brown spider, you should go to the hospital.

It could be a bite, sounds like it, but as I have know idea where you live, could not even guess as to what bit you. Spider, scorpion, beetle?

Isn't that called a charlie horse or something. It's like you pulled a muscle at the bottom of your foot right? This has happened to me once or twice, I usually let it fix itself but get it massaged. No nothing bit you, if it did, look closely at it to see if there is a red spot anywhere where an insect could have made an entry.

There are ligaments and tendons in a foot that can be damaged or even totally ruptured just like the ones in ankles, knees and elsewhere. I think you need to talk to someone in either orthopedics or sports medicine before this gets a chance to turn into a chronic condition.
