Qualifications for Massage Therapist?!
Question: I am in year 12 right now and still deciding what i would like to do after school. I have been thinking about Massage therapy but I'm not sure about annual salary, qualifications, etc.
I do love the idea of working at a day spa or Health resort it sounds like a very rewarding and peaceful job. However i am not aware of potential negatives there may be, if anyone out there is working in this field I would appreciate any feedback you could give me, maybe names of some colleges that offer this sort of training ( i live in victoria, australia) and anything else i should be aware of.

Massage therapist, Beautician, sounds like a nice job, but the reality you will have to deal with some ignorant clients. For example is you wax someone and they erupt in a rash, you will get the blame, even if they 'forgot' to tell you they have sensitive skin? Likewise with massage, many people will feel ill after wards because you are removing waste, lymphatic drainage, so they may tell you exactly what they think of you and never return. The most important part, at 30 years of age, you will need to change career, as the younger females will be following in your footsteps. Good Luck
