How to sleep & wake up early?!


Question: hi! i have a prob w/ sleeping & waking up early! even if i try to sleep early, i ended up sleeping at 3 am then i will wake up at 9 am or 10 am or sometimes even late than that!

i tried everything! drinking hot milk doesn't help or taking a hot bath!

please help! thanks!

just keep your mind blank, don't think of anything. don't go to bed when you're hungry. this will keep u awake. avoid caffeine. don't forget to pray!

if u still can't sleep, u can read a book for a while.

to wake up early, u can use an alarm clock everyday to help u w/ this problem.

nothing works. what the best you have to do is to be fully relaxed

It could be your diet. Too much oils or junk food can make your body have bad carbohydrates, which make you have no energy and when you wake up you don't feel fresh. Also junk food makes you feel very bloated and tired, making you need to sleep more and have no energy

Eat more fruit and drink lots of water, then when you wake up you feel great and happy instead of sluggish and hot.

I have the same problem, I use tylonel pm. Take two and you will sleep like a dead person. They are great!

i have the same problem. My mum is a flight attendant so is up at all weird times... she used a "natural" tablet which contains melatonin. Its the same chemical that is in milk (dont help me either) that is supposed to help you get to sleep but in a more concentrated form. Your body makes it anyway but its just a boost... it works for me.

Your body has a clock and if you sleep the same time everyday and wake up at the same time your body will get used to it and youll be able to sleep at that time. Try waking up very early by night time youll be very exhausted and fall asleep. Regular exercise also helps sleep but dont do it just before you go to bed. Do something relaxing before you go to bed something that wont overstimulate your mind.Close your eyes and block out all your thoughts this helps you to relax. Herbal tea is known to help. Dont keep books, work or television in your bedroom or near to where you sleep. It distracts you from your relaxation. Get some music that would soothe you apparently cds of the sounds of the sea and waves also help to drift you to sleep. Dont drink any caffeine such as sodas chocolate and tea/coffe after 6 too much alcohol also disturbs sleep. Too much bright light affects the sleep too make sure your bedroom light is quite dim or get a night light. And finally make sure youre warm and not too cold and not hot either your night clothes. your bed and pillow should be comfortable. Hope this works. Good luck!

sometimes, i just can't sleep! it takes an hour before i fell asleep.

don't go to sleep if u aren't sleepy yet.

find something that will make u feel sleepy.

try to go to bed early. just keep your mind blank.
