it is a common symptom with severe coughing because it affects the muscles in the area of your belly. Go and check if you're having any problem with your lungs.
Edit: I can't give you a priliminary diagnosis, I'm afraid you have a colonic puncture, I'm not sure, just a speculation. It depends on the nature of the pain and for how much has it been there? See a Gastro-enterologist. Maybe you need a barium enema and colonoscopy. I wouldn't delay it, it can be a serious problem.
