My stuffy nose is stupid and i hate it and i want to kill it?!

Question: my nose will forever stay stuffed.. spring, fall, winter, summer.. the leaves fall and grow and the flowers bloom and my nose is always stuffed. now sometimes its worse than other times. like right now my nose is dry and it hurt and burns from all the cleaning and it is always runny. there is never a moment when i can breath through both nostrils. i can either breath through the left or the right but not both even if i blow my nose, it s always stuffed!. ive gone to the doctor and yes i have allergies but the crap he gives me isnt working. and on top of that i think i have an infection cuz my head hurts all the time like water is going up it. im really not exaggerating, can anyone help, is it normal that i cant ever just breath through both nostrils at one time? why!

This sounds like a song...

SORRY!
IF YOU KILL IT;IT WILL TURN BLACK,ON YOUR FACE...AND WILL JUST LOOK WAY TO GROSS..I HOPE YOU FIND A CURE..

Use a Netti Pot. You have the mixture of water and sea salt in a watering can looking thingy, (but smaller) and it has a spout you stick up to your nose with your head sideways. You pour the water in your nose and it comes out the other side. It takes a little bit to get to the other side if you have a lot of blockage and if your head isn't tipped right, it goes down your throat. When the water gets to the other side and does run anymore, you tip your head foward and blow your nose into the sink. (the whole procedure is over the sink) Then go and put your head inbetween your knees with paper towel or something under your nose for a few minutes and wait for the any excess water to come out.

First go back to your doctor and tell him you think you have a sinus infection, he'll check you out for that and most lickely give you some antibiotics. Then what is it he has given you for your allergies?
I prefer Flonase nasal spray (persciption) and Clairiten (which is OTC). Try removing all known allergins from your home. For the nose dryness, rub some Vaseline on it everytime it feals dry, it will work wonders. Get tissues with lotion. You may also want to get Salinex (which is a salt water solution nasal spray) or something like it to flush out your nose. It can be used as much as you need. Also when your sleeping, try using Breath Right nasal strips. I have to use extra medical tape to make them stay, but they really help. Good luck and feal better!

dont cut your nose off to spite your face! what a horrible affliction. Have you been to an allergist? There has got to be some kind of drug out there to help you.. I feel really bad for you. My son had a friend whose eyes were effected from the allergies, one time he was here among our pets and the whites of his eyes swelled so bad they were protruding past the pupil. Another boy coughs every night that he spends here. Another girl gets so stuffy and has such watery eyes everytime she is around our horse that it brings her to tears. Benedryl helps her. Sudafed and other over the counter meds helps the boys. One uses and inhaler and another uses a sniffing medicine. Have you tried those? They work pretty good temporarily. I think its called vicks inhaler? any of that mentholated stuff tends to clear a nose. Best wishes and HUGs
