Homedics Infrared Massager?!
Question: I want to buy one of these to use on my shoulder, as im in agony..
My grandfather has a infrared lamp which he used when he was younger and got tennis injurys.
But my mother reakons they cause cancer, is that true?

Heat lamps can indeed cause problems, depending on the wavelengths they emit. I would definitely stick with the infrared massager; it doesn't have to use nearly the intensity to have the same effect as a lamp, and doesn't include the "bad" wavelengths that a lamp generally throws out.
I have never heard they cause cancer. But they are good, and they help with the pain and inflammation.
They are safe and work great (and no cancer grandma)
