My son is 16 months old and fell with a q-tip in his ear the cotton was not on i!
Question: Do I need to take him to the hospital there's no blood just him crying. He has stopped crying but won't let me look at his ear.

I suggest you take him to ER. It is very painful to have something trapped in your ear. They have this little vacuum. It looks like a little plastic straw and it has a strong suction effect. They will put it to his ear and suck the cotton out in a matter of seconds. It's pain free and doesn't hurt at all. I've seen this done with my daughter when cleaning out her ears. If he is settled, maybe you can wait and take him to an ENT on tomorrow. It's not doing any major damage but you're a great mom for caring. God Bless You. You son is going to be o.k.

No blood. Take him to the doctor in the morning. There is nothing they can do tonight. If he ruptured his eardrum then they can make arrangements to handle it. If he does not settle down with in an hour and appears to be in pain, then go to the ER.
You should right away. Although the tips of q-tips are sanitized during packaging, it may cause an infection. Also, just because there is no bleeding doesn't mean that he may not be hurt. Maybe the cotton is blocking some of the blood if there is any.
i would take him to the er you never know what kind of damage it could have done
see if you can get a good look at it or around it first to see if it went in his ear
give him a toy ior candy so he will let you look

take tjhe child to hospital ASAP the child may have the cotton stuck inside his ear and it will be painful to him that is why he will not allow you to look into his ear go to the hospital don`t hang around saying i`ll go later go now and find out if he has got this stuck in his ear please gofor the childs sake
If i were you i would take him to the e.r. right away or asap because if he is still crying there could be internal damage to his inner ear.I have 2 kids myself and I would be freaking out! I know this is some scary stuff for a mom, but just to be safe ,go to a doctor!!-Good luck and i hope your baby is ok!!
I would take a flash light and look in the ear tonight after he goes go sleep. If you can see it, use a tweezer and try to remove it. If it's too far into the ear, it may work itself out, and if it's not bothering him he should be OK until you can get him checked. Kids get things stuck up their noses and ears all the time and sometimes it will begin to smell before a parent even knows it. Call your Dr. and ask him tomorrow.

YES! Definitely take him to the ER sweetie, any injury to a baby should be checked out immediately. Especially if it was to such a sensitive area. They aren't old enough to tell you if it still hurts or if anything is different with his hearing. Good luck, I'm sure he's fine but its always good to take precautions when they are so small :o)
