Why do my abs hurt after working out?!

Question: I went to the gym about 2 hours ago maybe 3, and I did about 200
hand lifts with 50 pound weights, 300 sit ups and about a 20 mile jog afterwards, when I got home I drank water and I laid down, and I woke up a couple hours later and I couldn't get up luckily I made it to the computer.. My abs hurt every time I bend down, sit down and lay down, and I cannot get up unless I strain myself.. Someone help?

That is a completely normal occurrence and it is a way of your abs tell you that you are putting to much strain on them try not doing so much at a time and they will thank you for it.
:]

And I'm guessing the 20 mile jog is an overstatement too.

Lactic acid, shouldnt have laid down after such a workout. There is a thing called "a cool down" where you lightly workout after you have finished smashing your body to smithereens. Eat a banana and drink more water.

uhm well isnt it obvious?
It sounds to me like u over worked urself and ur body needed rest. its just like if u start to work out a couple days a week after u hadnt worked out for like ever, its gunna hurt for a while, bcuz ur body is getting used to it. Just take a hot bath or shower and use a heating pack on the soar muscles. that what I do.

You probably just pulled a muscle. I would just take it easy until it feels better.
