Well, I can think of a few things it could have been, but I can't really narrow it down. I used to black out from malnutrition - apparently, I have a serious iron deficiency and it used to make me weak and tired all the time, and sometimes I'd pass out. This can be inherited, or be because of your diet. Which means yes, more than likely, the collapse had something to do with malnutrition - bulemia was probably the cause.

The pain in your back signifies some kind of kidney problem, too, although I can't imagine why that would make you pass out. Maybe you're sensitive to pain?

Hypoglycemia, maybe?

I blacked out back in 7th grade and was taken to the hospital. After many tests, i was hypoglycemic. I just need to eat everyday and i am fine but missing meals for me causes dizzyness and lack of physical/mental preformance. I have come close to blacking out since then because of missing meals or not eating enough.

So Eat UP!

Get your blood pressure checked out! Also, are you on any meds that might have caused it? Be careful what you take, especially early in the morning without eating.
