I have done when I'm on holiday without any ill effects. All your symptoms, except for the aches, are OK by the neck up rule, which says that it's OK to exercise if all your symptoms are above the neck.
You haven't got the flu, even the first signs, or you wouldn't want to go swimming. I'd risk it and go, take it easy and it's really no different from a brisk walk. If you start shivering then get out and dry yourself quickly.
A blocked nose could cause difficulties with breathing, but if you're an experienced swimmer you should be able to cope with that. It might be as well to take a decongestant, and even paracetamol, beforehand.
You can't be too bad or you wouldn't even think of going swimming.

I'm sure your fellow swimmers will be very happy to be exposed to whatever it is you have! Stay at home and rest.

no way....chilly water...cold changing rooms... shivering.lots of fellow swimmers to catch yer cold...recipe for disaster...
so stay at home ;)
