Cheerleading injuries?!


Question: i hurt may back really bad in cheerleading and it keeps comming back to haunt me. the pain is on my left side and it goest from my mid back to my shoulder. any quick fixes? cause theres no way im quitting but im in a lot of pain. and suggestions??

I completely understand about not want to give ur body the rest that it needs to recover from an injury(also a competitve cheerleader battling an injury) and believe me although u may not want to the best thing for u to do right now is to rest... DONT QUIT just give ur body the time that it needs to recover...

like maybe dont stunt or tumble for a week or so and see if that helps any... also u can try icing ur back rather then heat. Ice will ease the pain as well as any swelling that u may have...

also the hot tub is a great and relaxing way to lossen up the muscles in ur back...

and if ur still not feeling 100% in the next week then i would suggest that u go and see a doctor... its always better to be safe then sorry

I have had a lot they hurt a lot

you can try a heating pad or get someone to walk on your back. You never know it just might work!

see a doctor my friend did that
