Flu? Cold? Sinus Infection?!

Question: Well, for the past 2 days, I have felt like CRAP.

I usually get sinus infections OFTEN. Numerous times a year.

My symptoms are as follows:

itchy nose (sneezing a lot)

not a lot of coughing. Maybe I cough once or twice an hour or two hours.

My shoulder aches, it either feels related to being sick...or I slept on it wrong.

And that is it.

Is it just a common bug or something more serious?

I also have a headache ....but it is just right above my eyes and around my nose.

Sounds like either a Sinus infection, due to pressure above your eyes or cold/flu bug!. You can run a humidifier 24/7 or take a steamy shower to see if can help clear up the congestion. Ususally this helps. You also can drink more fluids (H2O), less mucus building foods (Milk), rest and take either Tylenol or Aspirin every four hours to help relieve pain/aches. If condition worsens go see Doctor. You just might have another Sinus Infection...and you don't want it to get worse. If you tap on your forehead with one finger above your eyes and it hurts, it usually a sinus infection...if it doesn't hurt, it may be just a cold/flu symptoms. Anyways...maybe a doctor's visit would help! Hope that you are feeling better! :O)

sounds like a head cold at this point. Suggest you get some Zicam nasal swabs, follow the instructions and nip this virus in the bud.

Probably a cold. If you get a fever and a sore throat and aching muscles (all over) then we're talking flu (likely). If the stuff that comes out of your nose turns yellow-green, then you have a sinus infection and need antibiotics.

It is even possible that you are suffering from allergies, especially with the itching and sneezing.

No matter if it's a cold or a sinus infection or allergies any other time... go to a chiropractor! He helps with all of the above and more and if you can't afford to go to one, visit: www.beneficialhealthplans.com to see how you can get to the chiro/doc and more for a low affordable rate. You won't regret it!
