I think I broke or fractured my finger?!

Question: Okay, my dog was biteing me and I was about to hit her on the nose to teach her a lesson. Any way she moved her head and I slammed my finger as hard as I could and I couldn't move it then. Now I can move it the slightest bit and it is the most swollen I have ever seen. It always gets stiff every like 5 seconds. I don't know what to do. PLeaz help me!

If you feel a SHARP pain when you touch it, then yeah, chances are it's broken.

You can help it to heal by 1. going to a doctor or 2 wrapping a popsickle stick under the finger with a soft long cloth, then taping the cloth in place. (kinda like a brace for it)

Don't hit your dog.
If your finger is broken you can probably feel it by squeezing it with your other hand. The bits that stick out are a clue. If you can't move your finger, you may have a problem. Would have to see what you did and what it looks like.

You might have-
Go to your doctor and get your finger checked.

when you are having such a severe problem you better consult a doc or else u may unknowingly worsen the condition.it seems to be a fracture

Its gods will! Dont be cruel to animals! You should not hit a dog if it bites you. Bite it back. and then you wouldn't have a problem!

Haha, serves you right, your dog outsmarted you. What does that say about your intelligence level?

Sorry but it serves you right for trying to hit your dog. It is NEVER necessary to hit your dog.

Yes you may have broken your finger. Go get it x-rayed.

Don't hit your dog mate...Can you bend it? does if feel as if something is stopping you bend it? if so, have it looked at,
