What is wrong with me!?!

Question: I'm a tad bit sick. I woke up this morning with a headache, and a cough. I thought oh I'll get over it.
My mom takes me to school, and my cough was getting worse.
I don't think it helped that it was below freezing outside and started sleeting.

So I go to school, and when I get there, it gets worse, my head is pounding, and my cough was starting to hurt my throat. I noticed that I didn't want to move, at all. When I did move, i couldn't FEEL myself move,,, [[if that makes any sense]] like, I knew i was moving, but if i closed my eyes, i wouldnt 'be able to tell if my arm was stretched out or not. I also have these terrible body aches..

I got inside, and I was freezing cold. I couldn't warm up. I was at school for about 4 hours, and I didn't take my coat off, once. I finally decided to call my mom, and she came and got me. She gave me an asprin, the asprin helped, but im still cold.
What should I take to make my headache go fully away, that could aslo get rid of the aches?

Sounds like you're running a pretty high fever. Alternate 600mg ibuprufen and 500mg tylenol (assuming it is safe for you to take those medicines) every 2 hours, even after you start feeling better. Sounds like the flu so you're just going to have to hunker down (get off the computer) and rest it off. Drink plenty of fluids as well.

flu

Get to the doc. You have a fever from what it sounds like.

Flu - take copious amounts of vitamin C - it really works! Oh, and paracetamol will sooth the symptoms better than aspirin.

Take a few Benadryl, it'll make your headache go away and most likely knock you out and it sounds like you need the rest.

most likely the flu. flu causes head aces, cough , sore throghts, body aches. rest up and get some medicine or even go to the doctors .

Sounds like you have a very bad flu. You feel cold because you must be running a fever. You should take some pain killer (e.g. Neurofen) and something for the fever (paracetamol). Stay warm (if it's cold where you are) and rest a lot. Eat well (soup, etc). And also drink a lot of liquids.

Most importantly go see a doctor!

It sounds like 'flu! Drink loads of fluids and take pain killers at regular intervals (check the packaging for how many and when). Go to bed and stay off the computer if you have a headache! Hope you get well soon!

oh....you got the flu!!! its a virus so antibiotics wont help but tylenol will help with the headache and cough. or some cough suppressants. hope you feel better

Sounds like a really bad case of the flu. Get yourself to your doctor before it gets worse. That timetable doesn't sound good (over the course of one day). If you wait too long, it could become something worse. Trust me, I hate doctors, but I've learned the hard way-when it hits hard and fast, get to the doctor. Take care of yourself-hope you feel better.

By the way, you can go here and possibly get an idea of what you might have. DON'T let it replace going to your doctor.

OMG! You should not be taking aspirin! That is so bad for you. You need to be taking a product like "Blockade" that you get at The Vitamin Shoppe. It goes under you tongue and directly into your blood stream. You obviously have the flu. It blocks the virus from entering into human cells.

Now you need to alternate Tylenol and Advil every 2 hours. Take the recommended doses only for discomfort. If you can, it is better to have a fever. (Unless it gets over 103-104.) The flu virus survives in a colder environment. If you allow your body to heat up, it will naturally kill the virus.

Good luck. I will be thinking of you. I know you feel so bad.

It sounds like you have a fever, and the only thing that will make the headache and the aches go away is regular tylenol. I just got over being sick, and I couldn't get out of bed for four days. I was so cold, and my whole body just hurt. Tylenol was the only thing that worked, but you have to keep taking it every four hours - because it only reduces the pain, it doesn't make it disappear

If it is the flu, get some Zicam Cold Remedy. It should reduce the viruses where they grow. It reduces the severity and length of the cold. I have used it several years and so have many friends and family. You have to keep doing it every 4 hours to try to kill the viruses in your nasal passages. When others have been sick for 2 weeks, I have been sick for only 2 days just using the Zicam and getting rest and fluids, etc and also LOTS of vitamin C helps.

You are just going to have to wait it out to get over it.
Will your mom give you Nyquil or something like that.
It would help you sleep through this awful flu

It Sounds Like You Have flu And a Bad Fever
I Would Suggest Going To The doctors And They May Prescribe Something To Help Ease The Pain

I Hope Your Feeling Better Soon x
