Does intense pain in the lungs signify anything?!
Question: Sometimes when i inhale my lungs give this INTENSE pain. It hurts REALLY BAD and i feel as if im gonna die. (exaduration) Its only occasionaly, is that a sign of anything? Should i see a doctor?

Pain in the most important, life giving area of your body need investigation. However, I found with similar pains - which I imagined the worst - it was merely gas pains.
When it happens I realized that certain foods I ate caused it. Broccoli and cabbage family like brussel sprouts caused intense gas build up above the stomach that pushed areas around the ribcage and it can lead to intense pain.
Do your own investigation first before you come to a wrong conclusion. It is just a simple matter of being careful with what you eat and how you eat.
Eating fast also causes such discomfort.
It sounds like Pleurisy. However, pain in your Lung should be investigated. You may have an infection or inflammation. If you smoke, you need to stop as this can cause lung problems to
increase.
Call your doctor and arrange for an appointment. He will most likely listen to your lungs and also order a chest xray and perhaps blood work.
