This could all depend on the size, location and depth of the hole...
You should sees a doctor if you are really concerned...either that or add more detail to your question..."a hole" could be just about anything. Your mouth is a hole.

i know it's possible for a betta fish to get hole in the head. While poor water quality can contribute to this disease as can poor diet, it's root cause is hexamitia. but i've never heard of this condition in humans before. if you seriously have a hole in your head, you shouldn't even be on the computer asking this! what are you waiting for??? go see doctor!!!!!
