Vicodin question?!

Question: I had a Rx for vicodin in August of 2007 due to a terrible case of swimmers ear... The infection cleared up and the pain went away, however, there were about 10 vicodin left, and I kept them because I get migraines as well and I wanted to just keep them for migraine emergencies. Well, as it turns out, I have to have a drug screening for an internship at my college. It's a urine test, and about a month ago, I took my last 2 vicodin for a migraine in Mid December...I am just wondering if this is going to show up on my drug screening. PS. I threw away my Rx when I finished the bottle...

Thank you and please accurate answers!

Simply write down the truth. You take Vicodin for swimmer's ear. You do have a legitimate prescription, which is on record at the pharmacy.
Another truth is that Vicodin will be long gone out of your system by the time of your drug test.
Personally, I would not write down anything about the Vicodin. It's not going to show on your drug test, so why bother?

idk but I'm sure your Dr would write a note for you, saying that he had given you the Rx. if you fail the test.

unless he's a real jerk.

I'm just guessing but I would think it's been long enough that they won't show up.

Can't say for sure whether this is an accurate answer or not, but I'm relatively confident that you are in the clear. But, on the off chance it shows up, I'm sure that so long as you retain the bottle as proof of prescription that it would totally fly...

It shouldn't at this point but I'd disclose it when asked about what OTC or prescription drugs you take. Also depends on the sensitivity of the test.

the Rx is valid for 1 year. The pharmacy can give you a verification of the Rx that will satisfy the testing facility
