I feel so drained by the afternoon and have no energy and sometimes i even need !

Question: I'm 14 and I am a vegetarian, but my problem is that at the end of the school day or whatever I feel so used and I just need to sleep and that messes up my sleep schedule for the next day. I get lots of headaches and just get plain tired easily, after one intense work out sometimes thats all it takes. And i'm x-c runner but lately I havent been doing so well due to my lack of energy. Whats happening? what do i need to do to get back to being my energetic self?

you need protein. vegetarian kind if u want-
IRON tablets.
go get your blood taken by the doctor and tested.
look up anemia in google and look at the symptoms.

everyone gets tired, just take a short nap (less than an hour), meditate, or do some light exercise to get your energy flowing again.

take Vitamin B complex

yeah i know how you feel i pretty much have the same problems, going to school in general gets anyone tired and so many people nap, and many get tired quickly after a short intense workouts because theyre stamina isnt that high. but just try to get some rest when you can i guess.

Hopefully you are an ovo-lacto vegetarian who consumes dairy products and eggs because if you are a vegan vegetarian that may well be your problem. It is unwise to be a vegetarian at such a young age and hopefully it will not stunt your growth due to insufficient complete protein and insufficient calcium. Incomplete protein is no good and you must combine beans, peas and lentils with bread, cereals, muesli and pasta to get complete protein.

You can find further information in a search for vegan + "health hazards".
