Can you get chicken pox two times???!
Question: well i had already got chicken Pox when i was 3 but now my cousin has got it and i want to go visit him but I'm afraid i would get it again...do you think i could get it again??

I think you will be safe. If you are older or fatigued or stressed the herpes zoster virus can come back in another form known as shingles. It is painful and hard to treat and luckily at 66 yrs old I have not had it. But I live in a 55+ yr old retirement community and many (about 6-8 cases) have occurred with folks I know. They just have to tough it out. There are some meds to help with the pain and may even shorten its duration a little.

It seems to manifest along nerves running along the torso but one guy got it on his face.
If you are not this old, you probably have nothing to fear. Probably it would be a good idea anyway to avoid excess contact, IE just take caution as you would with a person who had a cold or sore throat.

I've had it twice. It's really rare though.
It's very, very rare; in fact, most cases where someone had chicken pox twice, they didn't actually have it at all the first time. If you know you've had it, you should be fine.
I had it twice-- the first time was really light-- it barely itched, and then a few years later it can back full force.
Most cases I know of though, people get it moderately and then never deal with it again.
There is a disease called shingles that is related to the chicken pox with painful skin and a rast-- but older people usually get it, and it is those with a weaked immune system
Yeah, you cant but like the others it is very very rare. Being that you were three when you first had the chicken pox its very likely that your body didnt make enough vaccination to fight it off again. So you might want to wait till after your cousin gets better just incase. (:
It is very uncommon that you would get it again. Your body builds an imunity to certain diseases after you get them. Chicken Pox is one of those diseases. I think you should visit your cousin.
yes you can if your first case wasen't bad. I had my second set of chicken pox a couple years ago. I was on vacation and I got them and poisn Ivy (I was camping) and mosquito bites. That's what I call a horrible vacation. We got a hotel room and I didn't leave the room
