Bad knees, what can I do?!

Question: I'm not sure if my knees are bad, but they make a 'click' sound, which is not a pop it's almost like a bone click everytime that i bend the right leg. Also, the other one makes a small click, I enjoy working out and being active. They do not ache much, but at times they have little growing pain feelings. I am not in the growing stage anymore, I am over 20 years old.

Anyone experience something similar? or any ideas? I do not want to give up exercise, anything to eat which will help this out?
thanks

Knee clicks are fairly common, and it can happen with perfectly normal knees. Knee clicks can also be an indication the the knee cap is not tracking straight, which eventually causes knee problems. The most important things a person can do to correct an improperly tracking kneecap are correcting any irregularities in your gait (i.e. walking heel to toe instead of walking with your feet angled outward like a duck , or inward - "pigeon-toed"); stretching the hamstrings and quadriceps to make sure one muscle group isn't pulling more than the other, and building up the quadriceps muscle. The quadriceps can be built up with straight leg raises with no stress on the knee.
