I'm assuming you sterilized the thread properly? Anyway, I wouldn't leave them in longer than 4 or 5 days.

I give the short time frame, because if you use the wrong type of thread, it will get locked in place and make removal near impossible. As you remove the thread, replace them with butterfly bandages.

DUM AS HELL!

Thats crazy, youre cool! just make sure you dont get an infection and I think it should start healing and bind together then you can take them out

They're probably going to get infected, especially if you used cotton thread. I suggest taking them out and cleaning the hell out of the site then getting some butterfly wound closures, push the wound closed and apply the closures. You can put regular bandaids on each end of the closure to keep them more secure...just dont cover up the wound too much. Keep it clean and apply neosporin every so often.

You should go to a doctor b/c yiu could get a SEVERE infection! Usually 5-10 days though.

it may be a little late for the stitches to do any good...there is a time limit on doing them I think. Like, If you cut yourself last night - it may be too later for the stitches to be effective.

plan: 201006

Something simulair happened to me. If you dont think its infected take out stitches ,,clean well, NOT peroxide, .. then put on Butterfly baidaid, available with other bandaids. Then wrap with gauze. Mine was a smooth very deep cut from pair sissors that was accidental when I was assisting a dog groomer. But Im glad it was me and not dog)(( I had no insuarance.Good luck and get help if its not looking right.
