Lower back issues- pain now going into my hips and pelvis. What could it be?!

Question: I've had back issues since my son was born and I am going to see a doctor next month about it, but I was wondering what kind of problem would cause the lower back pain to eventually travel to my hips? IDeas?

Dunno, see a doctor. But in the meantime, look up the yoga pose "cobra". I know this little, seemingly very easy excercise sure a lot of my back aches.

It is hard to say, you better consult a doctor

I'm flying blind here.
But let me tell you about what I did for my lower back pains. It worked. I have no more pains. I was in so much pain, I gave up eating and drinking. I didn't care if I died. Nothing worked. Motrin, tylenol. After three days of starving (not even water), the pain went away. I thought I was about to die. This happens when people are about to die. All pain disappears. That was okay. I was ready. But I didn't die. Instead I got so hungry. But I ate one thing at a time for days. When I got to the tea, the pain came back. Now I don't touch tea and coffee. No more lower back pain. Don't ask me why it worked. I told my doctor, but she just rolled here eyes and dismissed me as weird. Still collected on my insurance though. Could be some preservative they are putting in the tea and coffee nowadays.
