first of all you want advice, not to advise someone else.

i agree that it takes 21 days to break a habit, but set yourself a time limit of 28days. think of a reward you would like to have but normally would not get for yourself. make the reward meaningful enough that every time you start to bite your nails you think to yourself that you would rather have that reward than give in to your stressful nail biting.

also, learn to say a positive little meditation to yourself when you get upset. something like "i can be a calm, serene person." or "I am capable of calmly overcoming a stressful event."

On average it takes 14-21 days for the brain to kick in a habit. Just try your best to stop biting your nails for those days. Then you should stop that habit

if you are a girl, try acrillic nails

they are tough and anoying to bite, id becareful biting your nails too.

you could get worms in your stool.

Use something else to satisfy that urge. Hard candy or chewing gum. We have an instinct to chew an have something in our mouth, it fills a basic need. That is another reason why smoking is so hard to quit.

well i actually have the same problum like right before tests or anything like that i just learned that if i breath deeply and think about somthing happy (mine is cupcakes) it helps and if your at home maybe try screaming into a pillow works for me hoped i helped (if not i'm sorry)

Wear gloves.
