Jammed pinky finger?!
Question: so I don't know if its actually jammed but it hurts like crazy. I hit it at work and pulled it back and now the tip is so sore. when I bend my finger it hurts, but it hurts the most if I put pressure on either side of the nail. also I sort of twisted it and there is a weird crackling sore of feeling. is it jammed sprained or broken in your opinion. I'm asking on here because I live in the middle ofno where and don't want to go to get it checked out if I'm just over reacting

just fashion a splint out of whatever you have around the house, keep the splint on the finger until it feels better-it just needs some rest.
Ur ok i did that **** one time it went away fast put ice on it to keep the swelling down
There's not much a doctor can do for any damage done to a finger. One of Dad's fingers got broken at work on all the doctor did was put a splint on it, so both answers given so far are good. Ice it then put a homemade splint on it.
