Sitting down for prolonged periods can cause poor circulation to you legs. The fact that you placed your leg underneath your butt ; it might have pinched the sciatic nerve. Remember, that the sciatic nerve runs thru the cheeks of your butt down your hip and down your leg.

Another cause is that it might have created pressure and cut off the circulation and thus cause the numbness to your leg. In this instance, muscle strain and sprain can last for sometime and cause a great deal of pain upon weight-bearing.

Another cause of this leg pains might be leg cramps or the slang term of charley horse. . Leg cramps can be a sign of dehydration or lack of sufficient potassium or calcium.and sodium. Eating bananas in this instance will correct the electrolyte imbalance. .

Leg aches are pretty common in the teen years when your legs are still growing. Most likely, you've heard about "growing pains". There's not much you can do here but take comfort that you are still growing.

You can massage with bengay or one of those pain -relieving sports gel. then keep the leg warm. You can also use a heating pad. . Taking the Motrin for the pain was a wise idea. Try laying in a warm bed..Take a warm bath to improve circulation to the leg. Exercising the leg would also help.

I strongly doubt that you fracture or even dislocate your leg just by that sudden movement. Otherwise, you won't be able to walk and would be a in a great deal of discomfort.

It is not uncommon to hear peculiar sounds accompanying the normal movement of joints. These sounds are indicated by popular terms, such as "cracking," snapping" and "popping".Loose jointed people are able to produce sounds in many joints by carrying normal movements to the limit. Scarcely any movable joint, in which the ligaments and muscles are normally relaxed, is free from the possibility of producing sound, when the opposing muscles are contracted unevenly, i. e., either the flexors or extensors predominating.

The joint surfaces will slip upon each other suddenly, thus producing the sound. After it has been once made, it is rarely repeated without there has been an interval of rest, during which the muscles change their tension.

There are two reasons why our joints crack and creak. One is thatwhen the bones are rubbing together, a friction is created. And the other is that the bones of a joint are fixated. Air gets trapped. Upon popping, the joint may become inflamed and painful. This is because the body is trying to minimize the friction by swelling the fluid (synovial fluid) sacks that line our joints. These sacks are called bursae, and their inflamed condition is called bursitis. This might be the case in your ankle.

you may have broke it, but i think you twisted it. you need to stay off of it for a few days and put ice and hot rags on it.

maybe u pulled a muscle so.............and itll get beter soon

but u didnt brake it
