How do you deal with a broken tailbone?!

Question: I think I broke, fractured, or seriously bruised my tailbone this past weekend while snowboarding for the first time. The pain is really bad while standing, but sitting or walking up/down stairs is excruciating. Any ideas for relieving the p[ain until my doctor's appointment tomorrow at 2pm. I'm already sitting on a pillow :(

if you go to a chiroptactor, they may be able to help you. I broke my tailbone in May and just had to stick through it. there is nothing they can really do except maybe put it back into place, I'd lay on my side, laying on your stomach is bad for your back.
hope you feel better

Not much you can do for that except sit on a pillow and maybe try some motrin or advil.

Short of taking medication, lie prone (facing down as opposed to being on your back) as much as you can to relieve pressure put on the area.

PLEASE START DICLOFINAC SODIUM 50 MG TABS THREE TIME /DAY TILL REVEW BY YOUR DOCTOR.. HAVE A BED REST
YOURS DR. VICTOR G SURGERY

Try applying ice packs 20 min on every hour. Be sure to wrap the pack well, you don't need to freeze the area, just chill it!! Otherwise, there isn't much to be done except take ibuprofen & wait it out. Good luck!!

it's not really much u can do maybe you should keep a pillow
on your back the doctor is maybe going to pop it back and place and and gine you a back brace
