Any one here a Chiropractor?!


Question: How should I sleep tonight? I just went to a Chiro today, I feel great, But we discussed some things. My bed IS too soft and I always end up on my stomache, its the only way I can fall asleep. So its arched for hours.... ouch. anyhow, when I was facedown during the appointment w/ wedges and a face pillow it was the most comfortable postion ever! Since I do not have this is there any way I can keep my self from rolling over on my stomache when i go to sleep?

if your bed is to soft you could try getting a large piece of wood, like plywood and place it between your bed and box spring to firm up your mattress. as far as reminding yourself to not roll onto your stomach...the creativity is all up to you. i heard of clients taping bottle caps to their shoulders to remind them to not roll onto the injuried shoulder. maybe you could tape a bottle cap to your chest or belly. you could place something next to you in bed, a book, tv remote, loving pet so when you rolled over it might wake you up and remind you. really you'll just have to find a fun, creative idea and make it your own. think outside the box...it's amazing how a strategically placed ice pack can remind you to roll back over, haha. well good luck and maybe try some physical therapy. manipulation plus muscloskeletal rehab can go a long way. hope this helps!
