Why am I always tired and sleeping?!

Question: I am always tired. I sleep at least 8-10 hours a night, and still wake up tired. I have tried sleeping only 6, 7, or 8. Nothing helps. I don't have trouble falling asleep, I just can't drag myself out of bed. I missed MULTIPLE classes last semester because of this. I actually didn't show up to one all but 4 times the entire semester because of this. I went to the doctor, and she ordered a whole slew of blood tests. Nothing of interest came back. I was supposed to go back, but moved out of state before I could. Any suggestions on what this could be?

There are a lot of reasons, but if your bloodwork came back normal, maybe you are depressed. A doctor could help you find a therapist or prescribe you an anti-depressant that might help.

your under stress, give time to yourself to have enough rest and sleep.....

PMS???

i was getting sick a lot and always tired, then i went to a nutritionist who went over my diary of what i ate and changed my diet. most sugars are gone now....anywho when my diet was improved my energy came back and my immune system got better. i was not eating enough protien or veggies and was eating way to much refined sugar.

I have always had this problem. I could easily sleep 14-16 hours per day....and could fall asleep super fast at the drop of a hat. I had a sleep study done and have Idiopathic Hypersomnia. Look it up...you may have the same symtpoms.

Sounds like depression.
