The back of my right thigh is killing me?!


Question: It happens 2 days ago in PE.I was sprinting fast then when i'm going to reach the finish line, I felt the pain of my right thigh.Is like something stab at the back of my right thigh.Later my friend told me to try straight my leg but it hurt so badly.But now i can straight my right legs but i have to do it slowly. Since that day, i can't even walk properly.I always limping. So i wanted to know,did i sprain or tear my muscle.And how do i recover from it.

Sounds like a pulled hamstring. Ouch! Yes, its painful. I've done that too....
It takes time to recover. I went to a doctor almost every day for the first week the pain was so bad. They used an ultrasound machine... I'm really not sure why, but they used it every day too. It seemed to relax the muscle a little bit.
I ended up with a blood red bruise that went from below my knee to up into the glutes.
They doctor also prescribed pain medication and muscle relaxers.
Good luck... if its bad enough, you really should see a doctor.

Go to the doctor. Get professional help otherwise you wont heal properly and may have problems with your thigh in the future.

go see a doctor and ask once he tells u the problem go to a massage place and get them to massage ur leg

It sounds like you just strained your muscle, which would be tiny micro tears of the muscular tissue. If it were actually REALLY torn, like through the muscle belly, then you'd definitely know it because you would be unable to walk at all. The only way to recover from it is to give it time so that the micro tears have time to heal.

Most likely a torn muscle if u cant walk properly. It will heal to some extent however u will always have some scarred tissue on your hamstring. Go to ur physio or similar to treat it. If u dont ur hamstring will be more prone to injury and the scarred tissue will stay there for life. dont worry bout it that much i get it heaps.

ok depending on whetther your right or left handed, take a hammer and smash you weaker of the 2 hands with it... you will immediately forget about your pain

My guess is its either a hamstring or a muscle. Just keep ice packs on it and massage the leg. It should heel over time. If it was really really bad, then you should go to the doc.
