Hi Stormy, Sounds like it might be GORD. (Gastro Oesophagal Reflux Disorder) or Oesphagitis/Reflux. Acid getting back up your gullet when you lie down. PPI's (Proton Pump Inhibitors) from your doctor will help. Pop in to the GP. I left it and ended up on pills for 2 years with it!

Sounds like heart burn, there are some great OTC pills for this. I suffered with it for many years, then the pills came out about 15 years ago, and it completely disappeared.
