Leg Exercises With Previous Knee Injury?!


Question: Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any good leg exericses for me to do on a daily basis. I dislocated my knee last year and its painful to do squats and stuff like that. Is there anything I can do that won't hurt my knee but still make my legs toned?

Leg extensions and leg curls, 4 way hip machine, calf raises, cycling either stationary or a real bike. The stronger you keep your legs the more stable your knee will be.

Walking, jogging, try not to jarr it too much, but anything goes, its not like u had ur leg replaced. Talk to a physiotherapist, or sports med expert.

Try a stationary recumbent bike. My wife's aunt blew her ACL a few years ago, and the doctor told her to use one. They work you legs without putting too much stress on your knees.
