Help? messed up finger...?!
Question: Ok so, my left index finger...Its really messed up, my other fingers are as well, i keep biting them but thats another story...So that specific finger, the skin is like coming off, its a habit for me to bite it though also and there are sometimes little cysts that pop up, I dont like this finger but i cant exactly file a divorce on it, anybody know anything that might help or know what it is?

The fact that you bite your fingers is totally connected with the problem you now have. Bacteria from your saliva go under the skin of your fingers and cause havoc there.I suspect some kind of fungus is now growing along with the bacteria, thus the itching.
You may need to take antibiotics by mouth for the infection, a topical steroid for the itching and start psychotherapy for the biting. A visit to the doctor is in order.Good luck
put something that tastes really bad on it, then you won't chew it for long. kinda weird you just gnaw on your fingers... have you tried gum? chew on a pencil or pen cap instead...
I would talk to your doctor (and maybe a psychiatrist)
