Has anyone had trmt for spider/varicose veins?!
Question: I would be interested in knowing what kinds of trmt, approximate cost, what it was like/how long it took and what kind of dr should you go to? Mine is primarily spider veins altho I have a few varicose I think. But they are so unsightly and make me look so old/bad. I don't like wearing shorts or bathing suits, etc.

I haven't had it done but I am familiar with the procedures. Your options for spider veins are sclerotherapy(injections) or laser vein treatments. If you have deep situated veins you may need a more substantial treatment.
The cost for the first two is $250 - $350 per Tx and the number of treatments is dependent on the size of the area you are treating. You would want to go to a phlebologist or a good nurse to get the procedure done. Often times nurses are the best option because they offer more care and better touch than some Dr.'s.
