Do hydrocodone and oxycodone show up as different drugs on a drug test?!
Question: Yeah the guy who posted is basically right. Most standard drug tests only tests for drugs that metabolize primarily as morphine (codeine, heroin, dilaudid, etc.) BUT I want to add this caveat that he missed, if you take a ton of hydro or oxy (especially over time), it is *possible* there may be enough morphine in the body for you to test positive. I have provided a link from a very reputable drug site to back up this claim and also to give you access to more information on drug tests. Hope this helps!

I don't know why hydrocodone is but I'm almost 100% positive that they will be able to detect oxycodone on a drug test and know for sure that's what it is.
NO! absolutely not. I been in pain management, burned up my monthly oxy and than took hydro, than a urine test. your fine. Methadone/opiates/cocaine/benzo's are the main panels.
they are both analgesic opiate derivatives. they won't be able to tell if you took one or the other.
