this happened to me not to long ago.. my doctor gave me 10 days worth of antibiotics and the gross cotton feeling went away after about 8 days while taking the pills.

Ear infections are often successfully treated with a 5-day course of antibiotics. Depending on the location and the extent of the infection it may take up to ten days to dissolve the fluid that has built up in the ear canals. The doctor should have given you a 10 days antibiotic prescription. Just make sure you take the full corse of medications and if no relief of all symptoms after the medications if complete just see you doctor again and expalin

I had a simular case awhile back. I went out and bought some ear candles. I know it sounds weird and hippie but now, I do it all the time. You can get them at any health food or vitamin store. When you lite the candles, they draw out any type off debrisand wax that may be inbedded in the ear canal where the common cleaning practices can't reach. You will want a friends help with this. It helped me and maybe it can help you.
