Have YOU tried the lemonade diet?!

Question: I'm kinda interested in trying it out for myself. I want to cleanse my body. For the past couple of weeks I've been doing some research on it, and I just want to know who here has tried it and if you'd recommend it...

How exactly do you come off of this diet? And is it okay to drink water in between?

This is a good diet program to alkalize and stabilize your body pH. The body pH is the basic founding function that all your systems rely on. For example, we breathe to pull in oxygen and to dispell carbon dioxide (which is acidic). Digestion of certain foods will be affected based on range of foods, meats and proteins need more acidic environment, while veggies need lesser acidic environment. Sugar balance is based on body pH. Immune systems function better in proper pH balance. Lemons offer the best source for stabilizing your body pH. (and yes they are acidic in nature before they hit your tongue and body. As soon as it hits your tongue it works as an alkalizer, as does most citric fruit. Pretty ironic)

Any doctor will tell you that body pH is vitally important, but ironically they never really treat people to normalize and stabilize on a daily basis. You blood pH YOU have NO CONTROL, it is extremely tightly regulated and you cannot nor do not want to fool with it. You saliva and urine pH you can have a lot of leeway to balance. This is how you measure your body pH for functional physiology.

However, it does not necessarily "pull" toxins to cleanse your body, however. And losing weight is a mere by-product due to water loss, improved cellular function, and fat metabolism. Like you suggested, it is not a reason to go on the diet. When you do go off the diet you tend to put the weight back on. I have seen "stones" "calculi" come out of the body when peeing. I have seen bowel regulation improve, infections dissapear, lung respiration improve...gain energy and vitality, skin conditions clear up....a whole myriad of things.

I have done this diet, my buddies have done this diet and my patients have done this diet. So those who tell you its a waste of time have simply dismissed it due to mind-numbing research, or did research but blew the data off.
It is a good diet to do, but do when you are healthy (not feeling sick or sluggish) !!!

Yes you can, and should drink water on the diet.

If you want to see how you like lemon pH balancing, you can always use a lemon a day in a glass of water; half a squeezed lemon in the morning and the other half at night without changing your normal eating habits and see if you notice a change. Then do a trial run for a limited amount of days to see if you like it, it takes will power and determination. The first few days are the worst because of your mind's perception of needing food. In actuality you are getting TONS of glucose, which is the basic need for your body, as well as other nutrients, so you are not starving yourself of nutrition. When you decide to come off it, you need to start with juicing, or finely pureed foods such as apple sauce only first since your body will not be ready for solids.

Do some research, make your own decisions, and dont trust anyone who has not actually tried the diet because they are dispelling something that they dont know anything about based on heresay or what they THINK is wrong without giving it a shot.

Have fun and enjoy what you eat!

Its a waste of time.
It offers no real clensing to the body, you will drop some water weight and maybe a few extra from not eating, once you resume any type of diet you will gain the weight back. The only way to loose real weight and keep it off is though proper daily diet and excercise. There is a list of diets like this. from cabage soup to baked potatos they are all fad diets that do not change anything inthe long run. Cleansing is good but is still not the answer to a complete life change. Its temporary weight loss that is it. You wold be better off joining weight watchers and getting on a easy excercise plan.
