Cracking hands/-fingers?!


Question: well sometimes when i use towel or doing anything using my hands, sometimes one or some of the fingers crack and makes a cracking sound, iono wats going on, but i used to ahve a short lived bad-habit of cracking my hands when playing wow, but i quit it for few months or a year now, i've been getting active once and everywhie but it sometimes cracks even if i do the lightest thins like resting my hands, holding, etc. does it mean i have athritis in my hands or something? because the doctor gave me iron vitamins and they helped alot...

There is a fluid between your joints called synovial fluid and it acts as a lubricant to keep joints moving smoothly. This fluid contains oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide and it can build up gasses. When you crack your knuckles (or knees, ankles, back, neck) it releases the gasses and it can make either a cracking, popping or grinding sound.

It's really not a concern unless you feel pain when they crack.

not sure but i crack my fingers too.. i probably shouldn't cuz' they're becomin' crooked... so i can't really answer ur question but tell you my experience!
