Very easy.
Pl try cold water bath and observe, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

see a doctor about it, in the mean time..try tylenol

Gargle with nearly boiling Koala piss.

Do you ever get migraines?

pain is good it lets u know your still alive

take some meds.

Get off the computer and try to get some rest or fresh air. I find staring at a computer screen makes a headache even worse.

there is alot of the viral infection going around for 24 hours and that could be it. take tylonel and about 800 mil that is adult dosage and go to sleep it will be gonet ake care.

do you see a blob in front of yours eyes and do you want to go hide in your closet? If so you may have a migrane I used to get them all the time and then I learned it was because of allergies.

try a percodan and a 40 ounce of beer

A headache and stiff neck can be signs of menengitis.

Be very careful, and if it doesn't go away soon...see the DR.

Try turning off all the lights in your room and sit in the dark and relax. Or, if you have an eye pillow, wear it so that it will apply light pressure to your face.

Also, you can try slowly rubbing your temples with your index fingers in a quiet room.

Sounds like it could be sinus or the starts of a migraine.

Here is what I do when I have a Bad One

Vicks Vapor Rub on my temples and under my nose
cool wet cloth one on forehead the other on back of my neck.
Rest in dark room

ibueprofin sucks-
Take excedrin it is by far the greatest pain reliever when it comes to headaches! Try wetting a towel and put it in the microwave a few seconds and lay that on your neck the moist heat will help relive the pain in your neck..if the heat doesnt work use an ice pack. If it all continues after trying those things see your doctor and maybe try chiropractic care.

Sounds like it could be a migraine! Are you sensitive to light or noise? If it lasts more then a day you should really go to the doctor or hospital. There are many illnesses that start with that kind of pain for example Meningitis (sp)!!!

How old are you and do you have a family history of these problems? Could be an aneurysm, migraine, stress etc. Patients who complain of headaches being the worst they have ever had and can't get rid of it may be getting warning signs of an aneurysm. This would mean go to the emergency immediately. If you are fairly young and have been under a lot of stress lately or been extremely active (maybe pulled a muscle) it could be something else. Have you ever had a migraine? These will make you feel extremely sensitive to light, noise, movement etc. I hope you get to feeling better! If you just took the Ibuprofen you may want to give it some more time to kick in.

Along with a pain reliever I use corn bags to treat this type of headache. I microwave one to put on my neck to relax the muscles, and one from the freezer to put on my forehead as a cold compress, lacking that a damp washclothe.

When I get a stress headache, it is so tense that I cannot move my head when driving to see if the lane is clear to move into it.

What works best for me is a hot bath and I use a hot towel and put it around my head, the heat usually opens the blood vessels and my headache goes away pretty quick.Sometimes before I do the hot bath I will take four 375mg aspirin as that's the only pain meds that help my headaches.I hope this helps you feel better.

sounds like a migraine. take 3 aleve and go to bed. then got to a neurologist.
