Constipation. Help!?!

Question: Hello!

I think I am suffering from constipation and was wondering if someone could give me a few suggestions. I feel something is stuck inside of me all day and can't concentrate on my studies! I am thinking of seeing the doctor, but thought it better to get some general advice first.

Thanks!

Take two spoons of Isabgol powder in milk at bed time for a week. Drink minimum 3 lit of water per day. Still if you feel obstruction, consult a surgeon to check for blind piles.

When was your last bowel movement (are you sure you're constipated?)
You could try a banana or prune juice...those are pretty reliable for your intestines.

Drinking prune juice can help you out or you can go buy some laxatives, such as Senokot.

Include salads and ankurit channa, mung in your food habit. drink plenty of water.

It will really help you.

It may not be constipation. It may be bloating. If you are having regular, generous bowel movements, you are probably not constipated. But assuming you are, you have to make sure you are getting enough liquids. Cut back (not out) on any caffeinated beverages. They dry you out. Take a magnesium supplement every day. And you need to pay attention to what you are eating. If you eat fast food - stop. It's no good for you. Eat high fiber foods, BUT if you do, you have to drink liquids. If you don't the fiber turns into "concrete" then you'll really be in trouble.

I mentioned bloating. Many (actually most) people suffer from this. There are a lot of causes, but try this. Never combine sugar with grains. In fact, limit your grain intake to whole grains (no junk grains or snack food), and try eliminating sugar altogether. It is very difficult, I know, BUT never eat them together. Sugar and junk grain is the cause of much disease, but it is easy to ignore this fact because we are all addicted to them. Did I say addicted? Yes I did. Hope this helps you.

Miralax just became over the counter to treat constipation. It has been by prescription only for some time. It is a gentle laxative. I would suggest that along with making sure you're drinking enough water and eating a well balanced diet. Fiber is very important also. Prune juice (which isn't as bad as everyone thinks) is helpful as is applesauce. Stay away from bananas or anything else that is a binding food.

It may also help to sit in a bathtub of warm to hot water to relax all the muscles that tense up, not allowing you to have a bowel movement. After you get out of the tub try to have a BM.

1)see if u have a regular routine of getting up.
2)drink plenty of water.
3)take nityam churan every night.
4)eat fruits mainly guava and papaya as they really help in bowel movement.
if all the above do not solve ur problem then plz consult doctor as it may be a symptom of some disease.

Try Mira-lax. It is available over the counter now. Not to long ago it was a prescription medicine for constipation. It is not harsh on your stomach. It keeps fluids in your intestines to help soften stools. Drink plenty of water. See your doctor if the pain persists. Good Luck!

Drink lots of water...it helps bowel movement espacially before breakfast. Apart from that take care of your diet. Have a lot of vegetables & fruits.

Take a warm bath first to relase tension, then try an enema. (For really "stuck" issues we gave 2 back to back and asked they hold it as long as possible before allowing patients to "release" the liquid and try to "go") If that doesn't work try a suppository. DucoLax suppositories are the best & the only ones the hospital I worked at used for adults! (We used Glycerin for kids.) These typically work within 1-2 hours and easy going if the constipation is due to hardened/dried out poop becoming impacted. Both enemas and suppositories are in drug stores and in most grocery stores too. Enemas are about $2 each & suppositories are about $10 a box. If none of these work then I would try one capful of MiraLax (mixed in juice or water). It will make you "go" by tomorrow afternoon... although could be sooner. It is a softener that gently helps you to "go" by making you (your body) want to. (It is so gentle it is given to children and & elderly people at hospitals). It is about $15-20 at most Wal Marts & drugs stores. (This is the same strength as what we gave as a prescription and charged $88 a bottle for at the hospital).
See your doctor if you cannot "go" for more than 5 days (On day 6 see him/her).

Dried prunes work great and don't taste that bad also you could put an apple cut up in a bowl add cinammon and cook in microwave until soft about 4-5 minutes it works great & tastes really good. Lots of water and if that fails take a laxitive Good luck

as soon as you wake up in the morning, take 6 glasses of pure water every day and find the change.

The best way to prevent constipation is to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and eating a diet with good fiber sources. A gentle remedy for mild constipation is warm prune juice. I know it sounds horrible, but it a natural way to ease your bowel. Just warm a cup of it in the microwave and drink it. If it has been more than 5 days since your last bowel movement, you could have an obstruction and would need to see your physician.

You need an all natural health product to treat such condition. New Colon Sweep id the best example for it.

New Colon Sweep is superior to other bowel cleansing solutions because it not only helps the body to soften and expel layer upon layer of accumulated waste and fecal material, it will also help restore oxygen levels in the digestive system and gastrointestinal tract to help restore you to health.

New Colon Sweep is made from all natural oxygen and hydrogen elements that are bonded with magnesium. These compounds are then coated with Vitamin C and whole fruit bioflavonoid complex. It doesn't get any more natural than this which is why there are no side effects These ingredients are absorbed by your body to help restore its natural balance.

Try to eat Palak. Cook with dal or either Tomoto and Palak curry. It will empty your bowels.

Perhaps bingeing on prunes, mandarins or oranges for a few days might help.
