Am i loosing bone mass?!


Question: Im 20 yrs old and i broke my collar bone like 3 yrs ago and it heal just fine. Recently im having poping noice and now a slight pain coming from my collar bone. I dont know whats going on with me, but i cant go to the doctors because i have no inserance. so if someone can tell me what i should do it will be helpful. I also been drinking a lot more milk every day to see if that is the problem.

It sounds like you have some sort of dislocation going on in your neck area. Maybe a ncek strain of sorts.Maybe you hurt yourself without knowing you did lifing something heavy, a fall or a slip of some type If you need help ,a lareg hospital clinic can be helpful and they have not only a sliding scale, they have ways to help out those who need medical help and can't pay. Askto speak with a Socail Worker and set up a clinic appointment. if you can.

Loss of bone mass has no symptoms until bones begin to fracture. I do not know your sex, but at age 20 it is a good idea to take in 1500 mg of calcium daily along with 800 IU of vit. D.

At 20yrs old it is very unlikely you are loosing bone mass. Why exactly you are having pain, I can't say. But osteopenia or osteoporosis doesn't cause pain it is a completely silent condition until you have a fracture because of it.
