Why is my urine different colors in different bathrooms?!

Question: ok so i know this sounds like a messed up question, but i have noticed that if i use the bathroom at home, my urine is yellow, but if i am at work, it is a darker yellow, kind of like i have some type of infection.. and in some bathrooms it is almost clear.. i can use the bathroom before i go to work in the morning and it is normal yellow, but when i use the bathroom at work it is a dark yellow, kinda brownish looking, but then when i go back home it is back to the normal yellow...
could it be because of the type of water in the commode?? i live 3 miles from work, and both are in the county, so i am pretty sure the water comes from the same place... any thoughts on this?? thanks

could be the water, but also the lighting. flourescent lighting makes it appear darker, since there are some spectrums of light missing from the flourescent light bulbs. Incandescent bulbs have more of a natural light. Also, you might have different paint on the walls, which reflect the light and the reflection what is left after the paint absorbs some of the ambient light.
Essentially, none of us actually sees anything. We see the light reflecting off of surfaces and if certain spectums of lightwaves are absorbed by surrounding surfaces, what is left might be different in each room.

The colour of your urine is really based on how hydrated you are, and how long you hold it for!

The more water you drink, the clearer the fluid. The longer you hold it the darker it will be.

I don't think it has anything to do with the water in the toilet. Try drinking lots of water and urinating regularily.

I agree with KSutt, but have you looked at the lighting in the bathrooms- maybe that has something to do with it
