Chances are a curling iron caused first degree burns. If there is blistering it is a second degree burn. Run cold water on it ASAP for 15 minutes then apply a sterile wet dressing and change Afton. If it gets any red er take the child to a MD . If the child can tolerate Tylenol give the recommended dose on the bottle.

Cold Running water for at least 20mins

cold water! quickly! for at least 10 mins until the skin feels cold. Then clingfilm to protect skin from germs. if its a small area (sounds like it) he doesn't need hospital unless its deep. don't apply any oils, creams or ointments. actually lavender oil is the only commonly available thing which is proven to fight germs and increase healing. remember no sticky plasters/dressings only clingfilm or non-adhesive dressing. good luck

Clean it with cool water. Pat it dry. Apply some aloe or vit E (squeeze out of a Vit E caplet). Apply a bandage. Give him some baby ibuprofen or tylenol for pain. Keep it clean and it should heal quickly.

Cold water now. I just burnt myself this morning cooking breakfast and found that cold water worked best, followed by Aloe Vera gel, covered by a Band-aid in case of injuring it further.

put sun burn cream on it and it should get better . don't forget to rap it in something so the cream won't come off
