Is aloe bad?!

Question: will it hurt you if you get aloe (directly from the plant) in your mouth

Answers: will it hurt you if you get aloe (directly from the plant) in your mouth

Won't hurt you at all, if it's just aloe (some aloe products have other things in it, like xylocaine, for sunburn, and you should not eat that).

Aloe is a natural plant product. Some people apply the gel to their skin (a facial plastic surgeon that I saw to have a mole removed says this is an amazing product that everyone should be using to rejuvenate their skin). Some people drink the juice as a nutritional supplement. Here is a link to a Web site for info on that usage. http://www.aloelife.com/

If it's 99.9% pure aloe, it won't hurt you.

It boggles my mind the way most of the answers on things on Yahoo! Answers contain inaccurate information (see most other answers here to this question.)

Don't know. Best ask a chemist or someone.

maybe in your mouth.

Don't put that $h!T in your mouth, girl.

how did that happen? i dont think it will harm you if it was a drop.did someone actually bite into it? to be honest with you i dont think it would do any harm.

Depends on how processed it is. I wouldn't let it get anywhere closer to my mouth than it has to though. >.<

NO it will not hurt you. It is pure right out of the plant.

Many people buy liquid Aloe and drink it.

what kinda question is that?

PURE Aloe is safe. You can drink it. It can have a laxative effect if taken in a large quantity, though. Please research the facts that were given to you in another correct answer. I believe that she supplied you with a website.

No, Aloe is not bad. I think that I will go and drink some myself:)
