What could have happened? serious? major injury!?!


Question: so i was sitting across* the other table across from them* from these 3 kids. 2 of them pushed the other kid into the floor of the cafeteria...he landed flat on his spine and head. then the kids THREW BOOKS on top of him...he didnt blink or move or talk at all.. he just layed there in the same exact position!! then the teachers came and started taking a stethoscope and putting it against his heart.. and pumping something into him. then we all had to leave the cafeteria and he got pulled away on a stretcher. what could have happened?THANKS!!

Didn't I answer this question yesterday? He probably had a spinal cord injury, particularly if he wasn't moving, and they were probably giving him oxygen, although it could have been some kind of painkiller or epinephrine, -maybe-. (Epi is artificial adrenaline.) I really don't think there's any way one of his lungs could have collapsed, because there doesn't seem to be anything in this scenario that would have punctured a lung.

Umm...I'm not sure, sounds odd. I don't think someone could be seriously injured from that. Did the kid have diabetes? Were the teachers giving him insulin?

I'm curious...when you choose the best answer can you tell what happened if you know?

what do you mean pumping something into him? like a shot or CPR. he could have passed out form the impact from hittting the back of his head. or he cold have had the wind knoted out of him and one of his lungs (or both) collapesed. I really don't know what happened but if he was pulled away on a stretcher he was hurt seriouly
