Should I take melatonin tonight? what does it do exactly?!

Question: I know I can just google it but does anyone take melatonin to help them sleep? I just can't sleep I took over 10 mg of xanax the other day and slept for 16 hours now i feel withdrawal and need something to sleep

3-5 mg of melatonin works GREAT.

I took melatonin and it made me feel strange. If I have trouble sleeping I take a couple Valerian Root capsules. Does the trick every time.
