While time will make the toxins pass, you should also be drinking plenty of water and exercising. That helps clean your body and circulates the toxins out. Good for you for trying then saying, "that's not for me." Just stay away from people who are smoking from now on, as their "second-hand" smoke can be just as dangerous to your body.

Nothing, the body will rid itself of the toxins as it does with the food you eat and the air your breathe. Good Luck
You have inhaled toxin since your were born from the cars, lorries and industry.

dont do it again and you will be fine.
The smoke has passed.
You can get more damage than that on a busy street corner in a city or around other people smoking , I promise you will be OK.

lol its one cigarette
its not exactly going to kill you first time

20 years+/- ago health insurance companies wondered how they could reduce the money they spent on tobacco induced illnesses. They initiated a campaign to put pressure on people to quit smoking and make non smokers paranoid sufficiently so that they would assist in pressuring people to quit. They have succeeded in making people paranoid. Non-smokers are now convinced that if they even detect the odor of smoke that they are being harmed. Is smoke good for one's health? No, I'm sure it's not but consider this. Someone that smokes a pack and a half (30) per day for 40 years has smoked
(30 X 365 X 40 = 438,000 cigarettes) and there are a lot of them still alive and smoking. Do you really think that you need to worry about cleansing your lungs of the ingredients of one cigarette? You might do a more positive good to your lungs to move away from city traffic smog/pollution.
Sure I know smoking is not good for a person but the economic interests of insurance companies fueled that propaganda machine. Wanna see what's next? Watch, the new campaign is against obesity. They will start increasing the cost for insuring obese people (or denying them coverage ) in an effort to pressure people to reduce weight. Then people will be paranoid if they are ONE POUND over ideal weight. Money makes the world go 'round.

One simple thing that you could do is drink a lot of water for just one day. It will remove toxins through urine. If you drink way too much water then you will dehyrate. I would say drink about 3 litres of water atleast. This would really help.
