I know what you mean... when I first started I couldn't get my back handspring... and I felt the same way! Like I was going to fall flat on my face... but eventually I just trusted myself to do it and I did! It is the same way with you front and back walkovers. Just need to get up the courage and kick your feet. Make sure that you do it on a soft mat the first few times so if you do fall it won't matter anyway. If you want you can always ask your coach to just stand there and watch, but not spot. (Then they will be there in case they need to catch you) I did that all the time when I first started my fly-aways on bars. (Back tuck off the high bar). Well I hope you can get it soon just trust yourself, and I hope this advice helps!
just trust urself...i couldnt do backbends before either unless i got on the floor and did then..but then i kno it sounds weird but i just was like okk just trust urself and now i do then all the time..and just kick over i mean its not that hard but good luck
