You have probably bruised yourself - sometimes known as a haematoma. You could try applying a ice pack (or a bag of frozen peas etc), to help reduce the swelling, but time is the only cure. As haematoma's swell within a confined space (such as your calf) they can create a feeling of tightness in the area. Eventually, this decreases as the haematoma is reabsorbed into the surrounding muscle.
Just keep an eye on your calf to make sure that you don't develop a deep vein thrombosis, which is a rare complication. Watch for increasing redness, pain, heat and swelling which could indicate a clot within your vein. The pain is more severe and generalised than the type you get from a bruise. If you're unsure, see a doctor to get it checked out.
Hope this helps!

Well, this happens to me a lot. Quick thing that might have some effect on this is if you exercise this can tighten up to cafe. But really all that it is you hit your calf on the table and you are getting a bruse. It isnt much to worry about. If you are in a lot of pain take some pain killers.

im not exactly sure, you may have hit a nerve or hit something in the muscle..

I wouldn't worry. If it's feeling really tight then it might just be swelling, and also bruising. But remember, you should always go to a doctor if you think there is something really wrong, don't just take our word for it.
